This Cookie Policy explains the browser technologies M‑Talii uses to keep trips secure, remember choices and—only where permitted—understand and improve the service.
1. What is a cookie?
A cookie is a small text file stored by your browser. Similar technologies include local storage and device identifiers. First-party cookies are set by M‑Talii; third-party cookies can be set by an embedded service. Session cookies expire after the session, while persistent cookies last until expiry or removal.
2. Cookie categories
Strictly necessary
Security, session continuity, sign-in, cart, booking, checkout, fraud protection and your cookie choice. These cannot be switched off in our platform.
Preferences
Remember language, currency, region, searches and accessibility choices.
Analytics
Measure aggregated page use, errors and workflow performance. Non-essential analytics require the applicable permission.
Marketing
Measure campaigns or personalise offers. Non-essential marketing technology requires a valid choice where consent applies.
3. Technologies needed by M‑Talii
| Technology | Purpose | Typical duration |
|---|---|---|
| Session cookie | Connects pages, authentication and booking state. | Session or limited persistent period |
| Security / request token | Helps prevent forged requests and protects forms and checkout. | Session |
| Cookie-choice record | Remembers that this notice was acknowledged. | Persistent until expiry or deletion |
| Language and currency | Shows content and indicative prices in your chosen format. | Until changed or deleted |
| Trip and cart state | Keeps selected services and traveller choices together. | Session or limited inactivity period |
Exact names and expiry periods can differ by deployment and enabled payment or map service. This table must be updated before a new non-essential category is added.
4. Third parties
Maps, payment checkout, support or supplier content may use technology needed for that requested feature. Providers may act under M‑Talii’s instructions or their own privacy notice. We limit access to the requested feature and do not label an optional provider essential merely for convenience.
5. Your choices
- Use the notice links to understand cookies before acknowledging it.
- Block, inspect or delete cookies in browser settings. Blocking essentials can prevent sign-in, cart, booking and payment.
- Where optional consent controls are offered, accept, reject or later withdraw without losing essential services.
- Do Not Track signals are not consistently standardised; we apply available consent controls and applicable law.
6. Changes and contact
The effective date shows the latest revision. Email [email protected] or read our Privacy Policy.
